BELIEVE

S.E.E.D. For Today___Believe

Scripture "And if you have no doubts in your mind and believe that what you say will happen, God will do it for you." Mark 11:22c New Century Version

As the disciples are continuing in their education and training as co-workers of Jesus, the topic shifts from Christ being a miracle worker to the application of prayer. The inevitable connection between faith and prayer is expressed here and attest that true prayer is making requests of God in faith. Faith believes enough to ask, asking is the conviction we should have to know that God intends for His will to be done. Many of us waver in faith and prayer becomes difficult in light of every circumstance. You may be about to faint or baffled by what you see, but what seems difficult to you will be easy for God. Every circumstance and habit in life takes faith. It's not by the intensity of your prayer that moves God it is the confidence you approach Him with that can move mountains.

Example Believe is to have confidence in the truth, or the reliability without proof. To have a firm conviction of something or someone purposefully. To have faith in God.

Exercise Read Mark 11:20-26 Journal and talk to God about areas you are still struggling to believe.

Devotion Lord my prayer for today is help my unbelief. I cast out all doubt in my mind and believe that what I say will happen. Lord I know that if I speak it you will do it as it is according to your purpose for my life. In Jesus Name Amen

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
