THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___Safety

Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version

In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man contaminated it with his disobedience but the Love of God never fails. He is the place to take cover in the uncertainties of life. "So we will not be be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and the mountains fall into the center of the sea, and even of its waters go wild with storm and the mountains shake with action." God is our safe place.

Example Safety the state of being safe; freedom from the occurrence or risk of injury, danger, or loss.

Exercise Read Psalms 46:1-11 Journal and talk to God. Pray the prayer of safety for your family, for our nation, for our world. The violent attacks could come to our back door but we must not be afraid, Jesus told the Father to preserve us from the evil one. But we must come to God and continually live in obedience unto Him in righteousness.

Devotion Lord my prayer today please help us. I pray that You will preserve, protect us from all the chaos in the world. God I pray for peace. I pray that You will continue to be a very present help in the time of trouble. Lord look over us all, keep your angels camped about everyone. God guard and protect our senses so that misfortunes may not overcame us, Thank You for being The Safe Place in Jesus Name Amen.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
