THE "WE" PHILOSOPHY
















S.E.E.D. For Today___We

 Scripture "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil." Ecclesiastes 4:9a ESV

 Solomon's experience with the independent man caused him to consider the importance of friendship and the value of people doing things together. Team work definitely makes the dream work, because two workers can get more done even if they share the profits, they still get a better return for their efforts than if they had worked alone. In the 2016 playoffs Le Bron James and his team were able to break the 52 year old curse and achieve redemption for Cleveland. Using the "we" philosophy they were able to smote the demon and I quote. It is said that most in sports have a me mindset and that the team had a "we" mindset. We stretches further than his house, than his locker room. Its we that the kids are watching, it's we that kids that grow like me struggle for their next meal. It's we, being a young black man and not supposed to make it to see 18, that's we "Le-Bron James". The "we" philosophy is not a popular thought for many because everything is me or mine but Solomon realized the benefits of "we". A narcissistic spirit will not help one succeed in anything but together we can do it all including long awaited victories.

 Example We is used to to refer to one or more people considered together. Including the group, You and I and another and others.

 Exercise Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Journal and Talk to God. Everything that you are doing are you doing it alone? No man is an island you need people to do whatever God has called you to do. There is power in agreement! We can get wealthy together, healthy together. we can turn the world upside down because we are already champions because of Christ. We keep losing the game be there is no "we" in the body of Christ it's the me in me syndrome. Let's the break the curse the enemy wants to use to keep us from walking in victory by walking in the "we" philosophy.

 Devotion Lord my prayer is for unity. You taught us to pray in terms of "we", Our Father, us our daily bread, we don't just ask for ourselves You have shown us that we are all in this together. Lord help me not to be selfish or self-centered. Help me get rid of I'm trying to get mine philosophy so that I can be a true winner. "We" together have the ability to break generational curses but success alone only causes the curses to go on from generation to generation. Redemption awaits and "we" can spread it in Jesus Name Amen.

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. A MATTER OF HUMAN DIGNITY

S.E.E.D. For Today__ Humanity Scripture "So God created human beings in His image. In the image of God He created them. Genesis  1:27 NLT In light of everything that we are facing in our society today, police brutality and the horrific and senseless crimes that we commit against one another mankind must remember that we are destroying God's masterpiece. Ephesians 2:10 tells us;  "For we are God's masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." This was never God's plan He knew that after Adam sinned that all mankind would no longer have His nature so He sent His Son into the world that we would again be like Him. He knows the heart of men, and His message to us is to love one another as you love yourself. Love and hate are at war, this is not about race, this is a matter of human dignity. UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord.
