TGFF

S.E.E.D. For Today_Fulfillment

Scripture "For the time has come for this prophesy about me to be fulfilled. He was counted among the rebels. "Yes everything written about me by the prophets will come true." Luke 22:37 NLT

God's plan is coming to pass. Jesus cites the fulfillment of Isaiah 53:12 "I will give Him the honors of a victorious soldier, because He exposed Himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels." The focus is on Jesus suffering like a rejected one, that He will die a shameful death between two criminals. Jesus identified with us, atoned for our sins and interceded for transgressors. It was neither fate or tragedy, it was purpose. Again in Isaiah 53 but the 10th verse it says "But it was the Lord's good plan to crush Him, and cause Him grief. Yet when His life is made an offering for sin, He will have many descendants." The passion is accomplished in Him and on Him.

Example The achievement of something desired, promised or predicted.

Exercise Read Luke 22:37, Isaiah 53:1-12 Today on this Good Friday we TGFF/Thank God For Fulfillment. Jesus life was cut short in midstream that the plan of God be fulfilled. He was buried like a criminal and put in a rich man's grave all fulfillment. This reminds us of the plan God has for our lives and that the fulfillment of God's word about us will come to pass.

Devotion Lord TGFF, I Thank God For Fulfillment. My prayer for today is that your plan for my life be fulfilled. Not my will Lord, but your will be done. I pray concerning every prophecy spoken about my life come in the season appointed. I pray that the fulfillment of your word, manifest and accomplish what you have sent it to do, that you be glorified in Jesus Name Amen.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

What to Wear, What Not to Wear!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:2,5-8,13 TLC has a show entitled What Not to Wear. In this reality tv series family and friends recommend people for total transformation. The concept of the program is to take an individual who has not been able to give up garments that are old and out dated, clothing that leaves them lookin...
