NO MORE!

S.E.E.D For Today_No More!

Scripture "Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you." Philippians 2:14 NLT

Pride fosters in the soul a murmuring and complaining disposition towards God, and a contentious disposition towards each other. Humility counteracts both of them. Paul instructed the Philippians to do everything without complaining and arguing, to engage in everything with a mind full of submission to God, and in love toward one another. Paul expressed to them that whatever difficulties they had to contend with that their conduct be worthy of their high and holy profession. He informed them to never allow your complaining and arguing endanger your eternal welfare.

Example We must never undervalue what may be called negative holiness. We should be as light in a dark world, so we must be careful that no can criticize us for our negative conduct. No More!

Exercise Our conduct and conversation is totally important. We learned a lot on this week about ourselves. Paul writes hold firmly to the word of life. Read Philippians 2nd chapter in its entirety.
What a journey we have had this week on complaining, how the word has exposed this area of our lives. Continue to work on your conduct and conversation let all of us who are mature agree on this point.

Devotion Lord I thank you for your instruction, lesson learned. I pray going forward that I enter your courts with praise and thanksgiving. I thank you lord that I will come with the attitude of bringing my concerns in a matter that they are not presented as complaints. I will not dispute with you concerning my life and your plans for me. I will not suffer the consequences of complaining. No More! In Jesus Name Amen.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

What to Wear, What Not to Wear!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:2,5-8,13 TLC has a show entitled What Not to Wear. In this reality tv series family and friends recommend people for total transformation. The concept of the program is to take an individual who has not been able to give up garments that are old and out dated, clothing that leaves them lookin...
