No Matter What

S.E.E.D. For Today_Anyway

Scripture "When everything else was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn't do, but on what God said He would do." Romans 4:18 Msg

Abraham did not focus on his impotence and say that it's hopeless, he did not consider that at one-hundred years old his body could never father a child, neither did he consider Sarah's decades of infertility and give up. Against all hope he believed God anyway, was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God. He took the right way to receive God's sovereign blessing, through this powerful act of faith he became the father of many nations. Where God is present, there is nothing that lies outside of the realm of possibility. No Matter What, God is able to bring to pass anything, anyhow, anyway.

Example Used to continue or resume the thread of a story or and account. Specifically nonetheless or regardless, no matter what.

Exercise Read Romans 4:18-25 in the msg. then journal. What has God promised you? Although everything seems hopeless and nothing that is happening confirms the promise, you have to believe God regardless. Put in writing areas of your life where you need an anyway attitude.

Devotion Lord my prayer for today is that you help my unbelief, I cast down everything that rises up in me against your Word. You have the power to do anything! "No Matter What", I'm going to trust you ANYWAY (regardless). I am persuaded that you will perform your promises in my life. Your Word is infallible, it will not return to you unaccomplished. Even when what you said seems ridiculous and impossible, I still choose to believe ANYWAY, no matter what.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

What to Wear, What Not to Wear!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:2,5-8,13 TLC has a show entitled What Not to Wear. In this reality tv series family and friends recommend people for total transformation. The concept of the program is to take an individual who has not been able to give up garments that are old and out dated, clothing that leaves them lookin...
