GIVE GIVE, GIVE

In The Year Of the Comeback And Uncommon Blessings

S.E.E.D. For Today_Give

Scripture  "Give, and it will be given to you." Luke 6:38 NIV

This is all about letting go. Giving is a reasonable trait and the appropriate virtue of any disciple of Jesus Christ. It is also the foundation of the community life of the church. Jesus calls for generosity, while giving a promise. The one who gives will also receive, a persons generosity will always be honored by God. A person's activity of generosity sets the standard of God's reaction. Jesus graphically illustrates with measuring the assurance of the abundance of the sower's blessing. "For in accordance with the measure, it will be measured to you in return."

Example Freely transfer the possession of something and hand it over to someone. The widow in Mark 12:42 who gave our of her poverty all she had to live on, two small copper coins, worth about one cent.

Exercise It's easy to give what you have, but very difficult to give what you don't. I challenge you today to let go and give God all, (your life, your time and your resources).  It's not about the amount it is about your willingness to give God everything. God wants to bless you He is offering you an exchange, what's yours, for His. The more you give the more God will honor your generosity. Seek to see what you can give to someone else, give what you wished to keep,  and watch God do miracles on your behalf.

Devotion Lord today help me to elevate my giving as I ask myself how much am I willing to give to God? I pray that this year I will not walk in fear, but trust, not doubt, but in faith as I give you all that you want and require of me. In Jesus Name Amen "Never give to God what you can, always give Him what you can't!" Pastor Danette Ray

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God
