THE PEACEMAKER

S.E.E.D. For Today___Reconcile

Scripture "and through Him God reconciled everything to Himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by mean's of Christ blood on the cross." Colossians 1:20 NLT

We were God's enemies separated from Him by our evil thoughts and actions. Yet He reconciled us to Himself with the physical death of His Son Jesus Christ, as a result of this, He brought us into His presence to clear the record make us holy, blameless, cleared of all charges, without a single fault. God's justice requires full settlement of the debt, instead of being a debt collector, He forgave the debt in His Son's blood. It pleased God to reconcile us, for while in sin without any admittance of wrong doing towards God He was already making peace with everything. To reconcile us was a deal already established in heaven by the Father and Son, this arrangement was pre-planned to bring the world back into harmony and unity with God after sins disturbance to all things good. God through Christ stripped the principalities of their power and brought peace into our midst.

Example Reconcile is the restoration of friendly relation between, to cause to coexist in harmony, make or show to be compatible, balance, syncretize, to be peaceable again, end the hostility between persons, bring into agreement.

Exercise Read Colossians 1:15-22 Journal and Talk to God

Devotion In humility I come to You with complete gratitude for cancelation through reconciliation. You Lord canceled all payment of my evil thoughts and actions, by nailing it to the cross. You made me friends with God again that I could exist in harmony with Him, no longer estranged. Now I can stand in agreement with God, the hostility that sin caused in our relationship is over. Because of Christ I am syncretized with You, The balance it adds to my life is what I longed for. Thank You for making things peaceable again with You, reconciliation is a gift, a wonderful gift, from a wonderful God, I pray to remain in this restored relationship, how lovely it is, You are the PeaceMaker in Jesus Name Amen.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

What to Wear, What Not to Wear!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:2,5-8,13 TLC has a show entitled What Not to Wear. In this reality tv series family and friends recommend people for total transformation. The concept of the program is to take an individual who has not been able to give up garments that are old and out dated, clothing that leaves them lookin...
