WHAT TIME IS IT?

S.E.E.D. For Today____Time

Scripture "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV

There is a time for everything, a time to be born a time to die, a time to plant and time to harvest, a time to kill and a time to heal. In our world it is the time to heal and plant seeds of love. With all that we experience with racism, terrorism, broken families, rebellion and lawlessness it's the time to mend, to embrace, to laugh, to dance. Enough crying together, enough killing each other, enough grieving, enough tearing down, enough fighting, enough! Redeem the time and sow peace instead of discord. Solomon said this about the injustices of life in 3:16 "there is evil in the courtroom. Yes even the courts of the law are corrupt! 18:"I also thought about the human condition, how God proves to people that they are like animals. 17:"But when it's time God will judge everyone both good and bad, for all their deeds."

Example The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and future regarded as a whole. Plan schedule or arrange when something should happen or be done. Fix.

Exercise Read Ecclesiastes 3 Journal and Talk to God. Think about making the best of the time you have and correct every area of your life, before the time you have here is over.

Devotion Lord our prayer today is that we will value the time we have use it wisely and make it count. Lord our prayer for today is that in time all wounds will heal and we can exist as one. Lord our prayer is for the continual progress of existence as it affects us as people, that things will get better in Jesus Name Amen.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

A MATTER OF HUMAN DIGNITY

S.E.E.D. For Today__ Humanity Scripture "So God created human beings in His image. In the image of God He created them. Genesis  1:27 NLT In light of everything that we are facing in our society today, police brutality and the horrific and senseless crimes that we commit against one another mankind must remember that we are destroying God's masterpiece. Ephesians 2:10 tells us;  "For we are God's masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." This was never God's plan He knew that after Adam sinned that all mankind would no longer have His nature so He sent His Son into the world that we would again be like Him. He knows the heart of men, and His message to us is to love one another as you love yourself. Love and hate are at war, this is not about race, this is a matter of human dignity. Example Humanity is the human race the action of humanity is humanness, benevolence, compassi...
