Scripture "See how good and pleasant it is for brothers to be living together in harmony!" Psalms 133:1 Bible in Basic English

 Since the disobedience of Adam mankind has struggled to live harmoniously in the earth together. Race has always been an issue since the days of Pharaoh. Many of us because we don't understand our differences, use those differences to equate whether a man is valuable or human enough. God made us all in His image by His hand He created man. It was His original plan that man live a good and pleasant life in the earth together, but the harmony of man was destroyed by sin. In music harmony is the simultaneously combination of tones, especially when blended are pleasing to the ear. We are God's song His music and He created the world with a combination of skin tones, to praise and glorify Him that as mankind we would produce a sound that would have a pleasing effect in His ear. A sound that permeated God's love. This harmony the psalms declares that it's like perfumed oil poured on the priest's head and running down his beard.

Example Harmony, accord, peace, friendship, cooperation, understanding, unity.

Devotion Lord today I pray for the harmony and peace of the United States of America, for our world, our cities and our communities. I pray for unity and love to permeate our hearts and flow from state to state, city to city. Let us all take a stand to bring everyone together, to harmonize as one in Jesus Name Amen.

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. "My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses."
