S.E.E.D. For Today___Wisdom

Scripture "He who is wise wins souls." Proverbs 11:30 NASB

 Now the world has something else to draw their time and attention. The new craze pokemon go has people on an never ending hunt to achieve the rewards of this augmented reality game. The game brings people into a real world experience where they have to hunt for pokemon's by going to the actual landmarks. They are given training or what I would call discipleship classes which come with added privileges. The goal is to become gym leaders, pokemon won't come to you but you have to go after him. The game consist of Incense: "Incense with a mysterious fragrance that lures wild Pokémon to your location for 30 minutes." Lucky Egg: "A Lucky Egg that's filled with happiness! Earns double XP for 30 minutes." Egg Incubator: "A device that incubates an Egg as you walk until it is ready to hatch. Breaks after three uses." Lure Module to attract wild pokemon. So our church is a landmark in this re-created game. People now are coming to the church on the hunt to catch pokemon's. People have been showing up since last week to catch one, yesterday I meant three young men who were sitting on the ground in front of the building because they were there to get pokemon's. I thought they were youth workers but in turn they showed me our church that we were a landmark in this resurrected game of old. We had great fellowship and they will return again. Many will come looking for pokemon, and with wisdom we will welcome them, for he who is wise wins souls. 

 Example Wisdom is the ability to discern, insight, knowledge, good sense, good judgment, intelligence and sagacity.

 Exercise Read Proverbs 11th Chapter Journal and Talk to God, Pray to God for the wisdom to be a tool to wins souls.

 Devotion Lord we thank You and we know that You are our true reality. Give us the wisdom to seek and be on the hunt for You, that in turn you may reward us with Your, peace, joy, love and everlasting life. Lord, accept my prayer as incense offered to You. Lure us all with Your love, and keep us in the incubator of Your protection. We pray for the ability to use every means of the world  to bring total glory and victory to You in Jesus Name Amen.

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. S.E.E.D. For Today__ Humanity Scripture "So God created human beings in His image. In the image of God He created them. Genesis  1:27 NLT In light of everything that we are facing in our society today, police brutality and the horrific and senseless crimes that we commit against one another mankind must remember that we are destroying God's masterpiece. Ephesians 2:10 tells us;  "For we are God's masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." This was never God's plan He knew that after Adam sinned that all mankind would no longer have His nature so He sent His Son into the world that we would again be like Him. He knows the heart of men, and His message to us is to love one another as you love yourself. Love and hate are at war, this is not about race, this is a matter of human dignity.
