INTENTIONAL

S.E.E.D. For Today_Intentional

Scripture "I know what I am planning for you," says the Lord. I have good plans (intentions) for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future." Jeremiah 29:11 New Century Version

God's is an intentional God, He makes plans for His people that ultimately display His glory. His intentions are good to give His people hope and peace. In the German common language version of the bible it renders "For my plans for you remain firm: I intend your fortune and not your misfortune....a future full of life. The calamity that God allows to occur in our lives are intended to bring men to repentance. Before the foundation of the world God foresaw the need to remedy the evils sin would bring upon mankind, when Adam and Eve disobeyed and fled from His face, but He sought them out and bestowed His gracious intentions of a substitute in their stead. It was His fixed purpose to send His Son to bring mankind into a state of reconciliation with Himself. Yes you and I are the objects of His special attention. "All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 Not one of His purposes shall ever be frustrated. His divine intentions for your life began in your mother's womb. His intentions for your life will be accomplished. On purpose, with purpose for His purpose.

Example Done on purpose, deliberate, done in a way that is planned.

Exercise Read Jeremiah 29:11 and Romans 8:28

Devotion Lord I pray today, I know you are an intentional God, and that everything that you are planning for me is for a good future it is not intended to hurt me as the enemy wants me to believe. I put my trust in you to obey and allow Your will to be done. I accept your plans, for they are intentional in Jesus Name Amen.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
