DO NOT FEAR!



S.E.E.D. For Today_Fear

 Scripture "For the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, "Fear not, I am the one who helps you." Isaiah 41:13 English Standard Version

 In spite of Israel's past rebellion God was working on their behalf. The fear they experienced by the other nations around them was great, but the prophet reminds the people of God's love for them and how they ought to trust Him for their future. We are important to God and when we face opposition He will uphold us. Do you gravitate toward the path of least resistance? Do not fear God is there to help you, He will prop you up and you can face anything. Be audacious in your faith God is holding your hand, He will walk you through every dark moment in life and get you there even when you can't see. "In the movie Inside Out, Fear is an emotion who's main job is to protect the young girl Riley and keep her safe. He is constantly on the lookout for potential disasters, and spends all his time evaluating the possible, dangers, pitfalls and risk involved in Riley's everyday activities." I say to you God has not given us the spirit of fear, we all have this emotion but can subdue it's rule by faith.

Example Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or a threat. Terror, fright,, panic agitation, dread, dismay.

Exercise Read Isaiah 41:10-13 Journal or talk to God about your fears. Remember fear is opposite of faith but they both have their purpose. Fear in the natural does keep us from crossing boundaries that we may want to cross, but in Christ that spirit has no place we are to trust God and not fear, He is our protector and the Holy Spirit's job is to direct our path. Don't let fear hinder what God is doing in your life He has you by the hand guiding you into your purpose.

Devotion Lord my prayer for today is to admit my fears. I thank You for Your love, it drives out  all fear. I pray that I walk in confidence and I will not get deflated because of fear. You hold my right hand, You are the one who helps me. I will not get discouraged, or be dismayed, You are my Hope, do Your work from the inside out in Jesus Name Amen.

    Oh How I Needed to Hear these Words.I Feel Like Shutting Down Because of My Fears that I have from People.I am Really afraid of what's Happening to me.and I am ready to Distance Myself from the the Fear.
    But when I Heard Pastor Ray this Morning.that Gave me Hope.I so Love you Pastor.you really No just when to Give me that push to not Gibe up.
    I will Continue to Let God be first in My Life and I will not Fear evil.God will fight my Battles for me.

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord.
