"The Source Of Our Unity"

"Since there is one bread, we [believers] who are many are [united into] one body; for we all partake of the one bread, [which represents the body of Christ]." I Corinthians 10:17 (AMP)

The life of the believer is based on our partaking in our human body the things that Jesus gave us and His word spoken to us, demonstrating His divine life. His life being the one bread emphasizes the unity of His church.

God has committed many good things to us of which we must be faithful. We are living in a day where there is so much hatred, division and divisive measures being taken against one another. The world needs a source of unity that one thing that brings us all together and unlike the world the church has that source. The question is does the body of Christ partake in the source that unites us or do we manage to participate in that which unties us? I Corinthians 12:12 lets us know that the body of Christ is a unit, "for by one Spirit we all were immersed and mingled into one single body. No matter our status in life we are all privileged to drink deeply of the same Holy Spirit."(V.13)

Today I encourage you to tap into the source that makes us one, stop comparing yourself to others, telling yourself that I could never pray that well or witness that well for Christ. Whatever I do and whatever you do represents the body of Christ, not how skilled. I challenge you to embrace the source of our unity which is the Holy Spirit and the Bread of Life, let us correspond collectively in all we do for the Lord. Let us divorce the demons that try to isolate us from one another, and destroy Satan's artificial notion of love. Let us take on the nature of the Bread and allow the Holy Spirit to do the work in us and through us. Let us stand in solidarity as the redeemed community of Christ, forbidding any other unions that will work against and not illuminate this source. "The Source of Our Unity!"

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God
