"But that's not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope." Romans 5:3-4
God's love is so amazing to me. Sometimes it's hard to comprehend the depth of His love, His mercy, His compassion, His faithfulness, His long-suffering and His relentless pursuit of us! The incredible plan of redemption surpasses the love and wisdom of any human, it turns our reasoning and logic upside down and offers us a means to obtain it without effort. Oh what joy to know that it is our faith in Jesus that transfers God's righteousness to us and declares us flawless in His eyes.
What this means is that we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God because of what the Lord has done for us. Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that gives us this magnificent relationship with the Father. And this is no disappointing fantasy, we now get to experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us! (Rom. 5)
Today I challenge you to embrace the joy that is within us and to continually celebrate the hope of experiencing God's glory. Remember that God's grace is superabundant and even when hell's fury seems like it has come to devour you, stand tall with confidence. Remember that when you endure under adversity you authenticate your faith. Shout "Oh What Joy" for by faith you have now entered into His favor, hold your head high in whatever your going through, remind yourself that weeping may endure for the night but joy will come in the morning. Your not delusional for trusting in God and all this stuff is refining you for destiny. When you begin to experience and taste of His glory you will lift your eyes and raise your hands and declare to the world "Oh What Joy!"
