"Look Beyond Where You Are"

"Faith is the assurance of things you have hoped for, the absolute conviction that there are realities you've never seen." Hebrews 11:1 (The Voice Bible)

Faith means being sure, the assurance or tangible reality or the sure foundation of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even when we do not see it. When you have vision, you have to have faith. Faith is about taking a risk, going where you have never gone before, doing what you have never done before. It takes faith to have your dreams and goals come true.

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Issac, there will be trying moments to test your faith, times when you fully have to abandon your natural inclinations and defer to God's word. In the critical moments of life you must use our faith and look beyond where you are, you will see your faith elevate to brand new levels of success and victories that you have never attained before.

Realize that whatever your going through today may simply be the training ground for your faith. Don't get cemented in where you are now that you can't move forward to the next step God has for you. There are times when our flesh rebels against our faith and our minds try to argue with reasoning and logic, but don't allow your human nature to collide with the divine plan of God over your life.

Today I encourage and challenge  you to take the risk of your convictions. "Look Beyond Where You Are" so that you can see into the place that the Lord has already prepared for you. Be bold, and confident, do not go backward but expect the Lord to perform His word on your behalf. There are realities you've never seen, "it is written; What no eye has seen, what no hear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived, those things God has prepared for those who love Him." I Corinthians 2:9

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

What to Wear, What Not to Wear!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:2,5-8,13 TLC has a show entitled What Not to Wear. In this reality tv series family and friends recommend people for total transformation. The concept of the program is to take an individual who has not been able to give up garments that are old and out dated, clothing that leaves them lookin...
