You Can Pass the Test!

"There is wonderful joy ahead, even though the going is rough for a while down here. These trials are only to test your faith to see whether or not it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire test gold and purifies it, and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold; so if your faith remains strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day of His return." I Peter 1:7 TLB

Everything and everyone must pass the test. In order for a product to get FDA approval it must be tested and meet the reqiurements and guidelines given for a product to be released for use and marketing. Christians are also tested and proven, going through the transformation of old to new, being purified in every area of our lives, that our faith will not be destroyed as we are refined for the Master's use.

Who wants trouble? No one does, life get's very tiresome and frustrating at times, to the point that we are ready to give up everything and walk away from it all. But what would that mean if you walked away from every test. These test come to strengthen our faith, testing it, determining how much we trust God, whether it is weak or strong and true. Think about the test you face at this very moment, in all honesty I know you would prefer that it would be over, but if you quit in the middle of the test, eventually you will have to take it again, until you pass.

I know it's hot right now, real hot, and the intensity of heat is too much for flesh to take, but that is the way you should feel, because the heat is cleansing you of every impurity, making you fit for the Lord's purpose in your life. No test, then no experience, no experience, then you will have no way to relate to others who may have the same test in life that you had to overcome. Stay in the fire, you can pass this test, remain strong in the midst of the raging flames, understand this, they can not take you out. Get it over with, let God purify you and after you have taken the test, upon completion you will find joy in knowing that you have survived the worst of many things.

There is wonderful joy ahead, weeping endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Become men and women on fire, walking out better than when the fire began. God in His mighty power will be in the fire with you and will make sure you get out safely and receive all that you are trusting Him for. It will be yours, keep the faith, because you will pass this test!

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

What to Wear, What Not to Wear!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:2,5-8,13 TLC has a show entitled What Not to Wear. In this reality tv series family and friends recommend people for total transformation. The concept of the program is to take an individual who has not been able to give up garments that are old and out dated, clothing that leaves them lookin...
