A Remarkable Reunion

The Son said to him, Father, I have sinned agaisnt heaven and in your sight. I'm no longer worthy to be called your son. "But the Father told his slaves, Quick! Bring out the best robe and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Then bring the fattened calf and slaughter it, and let's celebrate with a feast, because this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found! So they began to celebrate." Luke 15:21-24

Yesterday in New York a young lady was finally reunited with her natural family after being snatched out of the emergency room almost 23 years ago. At three weeks old she was taken and raised to believe she had been adopted by the woman who abducted her. Not ever feeling like she belonged she began to do an internet search looking up pictures of missing children. Remarkably she comes a cross a picture that looks like her as a baby. She gets pictures of herself as an infant and compares them with the picture on the website. She is in great shock when she realizes this is her and that their are parents looking, longing and waiting for her return. She contacts authorities and the rest is just proof of true faith! See many years ago her mother and aunt prayed and beleived that one day she would be found and return home. The mother said her sister encouraged her by saying, "she has no way to prove her true identity by means of birth certificate or social security number, so when she gets of age she will return home because she will be in need of that someday". There was a ransom of ten thousand dollars for her safe return, which no one ever came forth to claim. But by faith miracles happen everyday and the young lady now 23 has been reunited with her family! Your Father is waiting on some of you to come home. The enemy has come and snatched some of us and has held us captive for many years, but remarkably you have a Father that is longing for you to return home. He has paid a ransom in the sum of His only Son's blood! It does not matter what you have done, where you have been, and whatever state your in right now. The Fathers hands are open waiting for you to come home. It does not matter how long you've been gone He is patient and waiting. One day for all of us who have gotten our lives right with God, we will see the return of His Son Jesus. One day, the day of the rapture will take place and every believer in Christ who has prepared themselves to go home will go home to be with the Father. What a "Remarkable Reunion" that will be! You've been exploited by the devil long enough, why don't you come home.

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
