In the Tacony section of Philadelphia a community was rocked by an explosion that no one seen coming. As a result of the explosion a gas worker was killed and other workers were severly injured, others are in stable condition, one of those injured was a Philadelphia Firemen. Due to the timely efforts of the Philadelpha Gas Works and the Police and Fire departments the residents were evacuated before things exploded.
