If we really Understood Heaven!

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will exist no longer; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer," I will give to the thirsty the springs of the Water of Life, as a gift! Everyone who conquers will inherit all these blessings, and I will be his God and he will be my son."
Revelation 21:4,6b-7

"If we really understood Heaven, we would be most unhappy and unsatisfied with life on Earth. We would rebel against our earthly limitations. If we saw Heaven, we could not bear this earth. That's why Heaven is forever: we cannot bear to leave it after we get there." C.L. Allen

To all my family and friends, we love this life and none of us wants to die. Death is a subject that we choose not to discuss, but it is a part of the process of this life. No one welcomes death, but he does come without being invited. How do we deal with the pain of losing loved ones, being seperated from those we live with every day, what do we do when suddenly their chair is empty, or their side of the bed is un-occupied, their place at the dinner table is now vacant, happening so instantly that it doesn't seem real.

Death comes as a heavy blow to those of us who remain on earth, but for those who have gone to heaven, now understand and know what we all have been missing and will never return or have the desire to. Jesus said that He went to prepare a place for His people to come home. John saw a Holy city that is made of transparent gold like glass, walls made of jasper and the foundation stones inlaid with gems. The gates are made of pearls, each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure, transparent gold like glass. The city has no need of sun or moon to light for the glory of God and of the Lamb will illuminate it.

God Himself will wipe away all our tears and there will be no more death and no more grief or crying. If we really understood heaven then we would be so unsatisfied here on earth. On sunday Uncle Billy got a glimpse of heaven and as much as he loved you, he could not resist what he saw sitting there amongst everyone. It was so beautiful that he didn't want to say goodbye, for as he was sitting there you may not have seen, but God was wiping every tear from his eyes. In that moment God freed him of his pain and took him in His bosom and told him to rest and so Uncle Billy went to sleep. The bible tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

So now family Billy sleeps waiting for you! Our day will also come. Billy has always been a fighter and has won many battles in this life, and he did not lose this battle either, because of Jesus we have the victory over death, and everyone who conquers will inherit all the blessings of God. But to those who turn back from following Him and remain unfaithful to Him will not enter into that type of rest. Billy made his peace with God and got it straight, I can just imagine that he may have been humming to the tune from the song, "climbing the stairway to heaven", family lets get right with God so we can see everyone who has made it in. Please don't miss out on eternal life in heaven, the gift of heaven is your's to receive!

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
