"SUPERCHARGED"

"You satisfy my every desire with good things. "You've supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky!" Psalms 103:5 (The Passion Bible)

Most often as children of God we really misappropriate the meaning of belonging to God. We often lose sight of this wonderful privilege. In the 103rd Psalm the writer is expressing his praise and gratitude for the Father's love. How his soul praises him and that it bows in wonder and love towards God. In this psalm he describes how his soul is celebrating the miracles that have been performed on his behalf and in spite of all that he has done God has forgiven him, healed him inside and out. He shares how he was recused from a living hell, then crowned with love and mercy. His praise is far from superficial because he understood that his help came only from God.

It is so wonderful to know that in spite of everything God can renew and restore us. In v.5 we want to focus on three words, satisfy, supercharge and soar. To satisfy is to meet the expectations, needs, or desires of (someone) to fulfill, provide adequate information (convince, persuade, assure). To supercharge is to increase the power, to supply a charge to the intake of, at a pressure higher than that of the surrounding atmosphere (ex. internal combustion). To soar is to rise or increase, to ascend to a higher or more exalted level without the loss of altitude.

I encourage you today to take heed to the Holy Spirit who is there to "Supercharge" you so that you can soar again and rise to your majestic stature. God is the one who makes things right, He is the one who is kind and tenderhearted to those who don't deserve it. In His strength you can stand the intake of pressure as you go higher in God. There you will experience the greatness of His love for you, He is waiting to meet your expectations of His promises to provide what you need and even desire. The Holy Spirit will increase the power for you to get up off the ground again, and glide into the place of His Glory! This is the day that the Lord has made and He is supercharging your life for you to live in the fulness of it. So go high or go home!

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda
