"Patience That Endures"

The fruit in our lives that comes from the divine love of God is produced by the Holy Spirit. We follow the Spirit walking in the nature of God knowing that our old nature, lust and desires have been nailed to the cross. We know that we have love, joy that overflows, peace that subdues and the "Patience That Endures." Patience in the Greek is taken from a verb that means "ever tapping" or "never quitting", then in the Greek we have the word hypomone, translated means endurance and it describes the ability to remain under, remaining behind, a steadfastness, giving us a picture of a person who is unswerved from their deliberate purpose and loyalty to faith, even under the greatest trials and sufferings. In (Luke 21:19) Jesus tells of the future suffering that will occur, He says to His disciples; "Don't worry. My grace will never desert or depart from your life. And by standing firm with patient endurance you will find your souls deliverance." In Revelation 13:10 the trials in the world will call for the saints to remain faithful and have patient endurance. Job had patience that endured losing his wealth, his children and his health. Satan brought this disaster upon him with God's permission. In the midst of everything he kept his faith in God. James said this about those who have "Patience That Endures", he said we call them blessed (happy).

Today I encourage you to keep going, keep tapping into the plan and purpose of God. Never quit, you can do it, although great you can remain under this and get there. Remain steadfast, immovable, always abounding in all that you do in the Lord, always excelling, knowing that nothing done in the Lord is never a waste or has no purpose. All the trials, the heartache, the upsets, are producing in you this nature, these virtues, the greatest qualities of a Spirit-filled life. So when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! Know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you, "let endurance, and steadfastness and patience have full play, developing you with no defects, lacking in nothing, then you will experience it's work in you the "Patience That Endures" (excerpt of James 1:2-3 ampc)

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God
