"Are you really showing true love by only loving those who love you back? Even those who don't know God will do that. Or compassion when you do something good to those who do good to you? Even people who don't know God do that. Or lend money to only those who can pay you back, what credit is that to your character? Even those who don't know God do that. "But love your enemies and continue to treat them well. If you lent money and never get it back, don't despair, it is not lost. You will receive a rich reward and you will be known as true children of the Most High God, having His same nature." For your Father is famous for His Kindness to heal, even the thankless and cruel. Show mercy and compassion for others, just as your heavenly Father overflows with mercy and compassion for all." (Luke 6:32-36) This is true Kindness In Action!

We live daily in a world of more cruelty than compassion, more hate than love, more divisions than unity and it continues in every facet of human life. If we as Christians, have been made and shaped in His image and have this new nature, we must begin to operate in this newness of our lives. Today I challenge you to let go of your ego, yes there are and will be people who hurt and offend you, yet we have another example of pay back and that  is "Kindness In Action" this is the fruit of your life, you are choice fruit. The scripture says in Luke 6:43 that you will never find fruit hanging on a bad, unhealthy tree. And rotten fruit doesn't hang on a good, healthy tree. Every tree will  be revealed by the quality of fruit that it produces. People are known in this same way. Out of the virtue stored in their hearts, good and upright people will produce good fruit." Jesus said I am the vine and that we are the branches, as we live in union with Him as our source, fruitfulness will stream from within us...."Whenever our lives bear abundant fruit, we demonstrate that we are His disciples. (John 15) Remember the Kingdom of God is not talk but action, the demonstration of the power of God. Let's starting living and operating and demonstrating that power through "Kindness In Action"!

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
