Heart to Heart Talk

"Beware then of your own hearts, dear brothers, lest you find that they, too, are evil and unbelieving and are leading you away from the living God. Speak to each other about these things every day while there is still time, so that none of you will become hardened agaisnt God, being blinded by the glamor of sin. For if we are all Faithful to the end, trusting God just as we did when we first became Christians, we will share in all that belongs to Christ." Hebrews 3:12-14

Beginning the Christian life does not give the assurance of its completion, so we must continue in our commitment to share in Christ. It is our duty to continue to encourage with another to stay in the race. Heart to heart I speak to you today that now is the time to hear God's voice, the scripture says never forget the warning, "Today if you hear God's voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts agaisnt him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled agaisnt Him in the desert. They were a people who heard the word of God speaking to them, after receiving His word, believed, but then rebelled against Him. These same people for forty years continued to sin, murmur, complain, rebel and as a result died in the wilderness.

So my heart to heart talk to all my sisters and brothers every where is this, listen very carefully to the truths we have heard, or we may drift. If the children of Israel were punished for their disobedience towards God, what makes us think that we can escape if we are indidfferent to this great salvation that has been given us through the blood of Jesus Christ. God has always shown us that His messages are true by signs and wonders and all various kinds of miracles.

Yes because of God's great kindness, Jesus tasted death for everyone in all the world. Jesus being born in human form; for only as a human being could He died and in dying break the power of the devil who had the power of death. Only in that way could He deliver us. It was necessary for Jesus to be like us, He had to go through suffering and temptation, so that He would know what it is like when we suffer and are tempted, and He is wonderfully able to help us.

I want you think about all that Christ has done for us and not let suffering or temptation cause us to stray from the one who loves us. The children of Israel steeled themselves against His love and complained agaisnt Him in the desert while He was testing them. God was patient with them for forty years, and they tried His patience sorely, but He kept right on doing great miracles for them inspite of. Still instead of looking for God they were always looking for something else and never found the way He wanted them to follow.

God has given us all His promise and His oath, be assured, it is impossible for God to tell a lie. The hope of being saved is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls, connecting us with God Himself. So beware of the evil that tries to rule your heart, keep God's word alive and thriving as the blood we need to keep our hearts pumping. Hear the word of God, let it flow through every valve substaining a heart that is turned towards Him and not a heart that will draw us away from His love. This is our responsibility to have this heart to heart talk with each other, so that none will be deceived by the glamour of sin. Keep in mind, Jesus is coming soon!

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
