"GRACE"

S.E.E.D. For Today

Scripture: "You are not forgotten, for you have been chosen and destined by the Father God. The Holy Spirit has set you apart to be God's holy ones, obedient followers of Jesus Christ who have been gloriously sprinkled with His blood. May God's delightful grace and peace cascade over you many times over!" I Peter 1:2 (TPT Bible)

Explanation: Jesus told Peter that his life mission after his resurrection would be to strengthen the faith of believers worldwide. Remember Jesus rebukes Peter and informs him that He has prayed for Peter's faith that it will not fail and when he has turned back he is to strengthen his brothers. For this Peter needed an unusual grace to strengthen his faith. That grace cascaded over his life, over and over that he was emboldened to persevere, empowered to overcome and encouraged to remain faithful. It was grace that restored Peter after his fall.

Exercise: Everyone needs grace to overcome life's difficult seasons. For some it may be a difficult marriage, situations with children, roadblocks or limitations, hardships and much more. That's when we need the strengthening grace of God. I want to encourage you to read I Peter, in it you will see there is an abundance of hopeful grace found in the word of God. The word of God will impart to you overcoming grace, to quit smoking, stop cussing, stop lying, drinking...etc, it will keep you in loneliness and comfort you in sadness. Today let the word breakthrough and allow it to release within you this amazing grace!

Devotion: Lord we thank you for Grace! We celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for showing us your extravagant mercy, to experience a new life. Grace strengthen our faith, saturate us with an ecstatic joy, indescribably sublime and immersed in glory. Grace to embolden us, empower us and encourage us. In Jesus Name Amen!

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

THE SAFE PLACE

S.E.E.D. For Today___ Safety Scripture "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble." Psalms 46:1 New Life Version In light of all that is going on in our world God is the most dependable person we know. Murder, and violence plague our city's and nothing seems to be safe anymore. When everything seems to be falling apart God is our safety, our refuge from the storms of life. He doesn't protect us in order to pamper us, He shelter's us so He can strengthen us to go back to life with it's duties and dangers. Trouble describes people who are in tight places in a corner and unable to get out, but we are not to be afraid. The earth may change and things will be in utter chaos, but in the Lord we have safety. Though everything around us and in us seems to be restless, God is in control. God is our safe place, in His will, in His hands He got the whole world, He formed it, shaped it, created it, and man co...

"Your Time Is Coming!"

"My Destiny and it's timing is in the hand of God." Psalms 16:5 Your way of life, your fortune, your fate, your portion comes from God. Knowing God is to know that He operates in rhythm, seasons, or times. Ecclesiastes 3 breaks down very intricately the seasons, or timing of a man's life or destiny. It tells us in vs.1 that, "Everything on earth has its own time and its own season" ( CEV ) or " Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses." ( GNT ) Being in sync rhythmically with God is so vital to the believer, operating in boundaries of our destiny or fortune, is the ability to flow in purpose. God has a purpose for each of us, you will find it to be your greatest joy as you discover the privilege of understanding the intention of God for your life. There are times as believers we find it difficult to accept what God has given us. There will be times when your ideas of what you want may get in the way of you and God...
