"It Isn't Our Position, But Our Disposition"

"Everything seems to go wrong when you feel weak and depressed. But when you choose to be cheerful (happy) every day will bring you more and more joy and fullness." Proverbs 15:15 (TPT)

Daily life can become so taxing and difficult it will remove you from a place of ever having a satisfied life. Many work hard because they feel as if they can change their position in life they will be happier. Happiness is not something that can be obtained by your status or position in life, it is the disposition of a person that leads them into the fullness of happiness.

A position can be a relative place, situations, or a standing, a situation that confers advantage or preference. Disposition is the qualities of mind and character, your mentality, the way you think, an inclination, or your makeup.

It's not the position of a life that makes you happy but your disposition that will promote a healthy frame of mind that signifies the enjoyment of what life offers. When we have victory in our hearts it will automatically exude winning, and the cheering begins. To have the right disposition about life is to have the right attitude. Affliction does not blot out our joy, even in moments of weakness with the right disposition in God we have a source of joy and happiness.

Today I encourage you to choose to be happy, choose to enjoy life, choose peace, it will give you strength to stand in the midst of trouble and trials. Misery loves company and you have to choose to let misery spend it's nights by itself. When you feel weak and depressed you don't have to stay in that position. Solomon realized in Ecclesiastes 3:12 that "the best thing for people is to be happy and enjoy themselves and long as they live." Solomon also realized that this world with all its goodness and beauty is not as good as it gets. There is more, so much more. You have the keys to unlocking your best life, so arise because God is in this, this is not propaganda but a promise, it isn't your position, but it's your disposition (how you choose or decide) that will make you happy!

Bursting Out Of It!

S.E.E.D. For Today:  Scripture: "Is this not the the fast which I have chosen: Loosen the bonds of wickedness." ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Explanation: There should be the right motive when we fast. The people of God in Isaiah observed but there was no change in them. When fasting we do not want to look at it as a religious ritual, but a means to transformation. The fruit of repentance ought to be evident in relationship with one another and our neighbor. If we fast and persist in arrogance, stubbornness, fighting and strife then we are only doing this out of routine. Exercise: Prayer is important to experience the grace and power of God when fasting. Without the consistency of prayer we will not see breakthrough. God is challenging us to do the fast He has chosen, the first means of business is releasing or loosing the bonds of wickedness. Whatever besets itself and entangles you again under the same slave system of missing the mark with God has to let you go. I challenge you ...

UN-DO!

S.E.E.D. For Today: Scripture: "Undo The Heavy Burdens" ( Isaiah 58:6 ) Example: There was a great deal of injustice in the land and with the rich exploiting the poor and the rulers using their authority only to make themselves richer. It was a conflict between truth and lies, just like in our land today. The people of God were no different in operating under the same system as this. But God called them out and wanted them to understand that their fasting was in vain if they did not undo the heavy burden they placed on others while still outwardly devoting themselves to religion or as they thought to God. Exercise: Let's invite the Holy Spirit to solve problems and aid us in lifting loads and overcome barriers that keep us and our loved ones from walking joyfully in the Lord. In self-denying love and care for others, let's undo any heavy burden or untie any yoke that we may have placed upon friends, family, associates or even employees. Devotion: Lord toda...

What to Wear, What Not to Wear!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:2,5-8,13 TLC has a show entitled What Not to Wear. In this reality tv series family and friends recommend people for total transformation. The concept of the program is to take an individual who has not been able to give up garments that are old and out dated, clothing that leaves them lookin...
