John 3:16 NCV Today in America is Independence Day. In 1776 the signing of the declaration of independence was signed by the Continental Congress on July 4th in our wonderful city Philadelphia. At the time of the signing there were only 13 colonies under the rule of England's King George III. It has not really given everyone equal freedom but, over two thousand years ago God sent His beloved and only Son to Calvary to purchase our freedom over sin. The proclamation pardoned us from the penalty of sin and death. It doesn't matter black, white, whatever your ethnicity may be He signed with His own blood and purchased your freedom. He is the King of Kings and the church is the colony of His Kingdom, and we thank Him for giving us this independence of being under the rule of the god of th
